You see Jillian is actually a FANATICAL Applesauce eater! She LOVES it! That and popsicles! :) And I got this email about how if you have a 5-9 year old child with no allergies-- bring them to this applesauce sampling focus group and you earn $200!!! SOUNDED GREAT! I thought-- it's getting warmer-- the girls totally need a ceiling fan in their room-- and then I'd let Jillian get something cool--

WELL turns out-- She and I BOTH had to do the sampling! I guess the deal is-- Motts is coming out with this new product --- "It's 1 serving of fruit and vegetable but the taste is.... Simply Fruit!" Oh yeah-- I had rate that little slogan over and over again about how well I feel the slogan represents that particular ORANGY TANGY BABYFOOD LOOKING LIKE applesauce I was tasting for the hundredth time!
Like... Based on the looking only at the applesauce how would rate the applesauce

Well, Good thing it is done! We earned the $200 bucks--- poor Jilly thought the whole time we were sampling and answering the survey questions that we were in a COMPETITION-- at the end they called about 5 Parent/Child teams to continue into another conference room for a few final questions while the rest of were done-- (I was glad we weren't chosen! But... I looked down at Jillian and she had tears streaming down her face and she said... "you mean we didn't win???" Poor Jill-- I explained-- YES WE WON! Everyone WINS here! We all earned the money!
So....
Jillian is in Purple ipod HEAVEN!!! LOL
And... Surprisingly she is still asking for applesauce today even after the marathon sampling we did! Not me though-- the smell and sight of it make me nauseous! LOL
BUT... I can't wait for the next moneymaking focus group or research study that comes along!! LOLOLOLOL

POOR JILLY...I bet she was so upset she didn't win! She's gonna die laughing when she gets older and realizes where mommy actually took her to get her IPOD!! This is the funniest story honey!

Jillian has an iPod and I don't?! Argghhh.. oh well, at least she earned the money. I need to start working for some money because I'm broke all the time!! Jordan suggested babysitting because she LOVES it, but all my mom's friend's kid's are older than me! Except for a few. Sigh.. wish me luck and I can't wait to see you guys :DDDD

Sorry, took me a couple of days to catch up on my blog stalking - Abby was sick and my grandma has been in the hospital..
You guys need to stand out on the road with a sign that says, "I WORK FOR APPLESAUCE and IPODS." How did you hear about this? Fun Part-Time job.
And I thought my "facial discomfort" tests for Mary Kay were bad. I only get $30!
I do those focus groups all the time..I make alot of money doing that stuff..heck I will sho nuff tell you how good or bad your product is fo some munie.
I have never heard of such a thing! Ewww though, does not sound pleasant. But $200! I might have to try a focus group thingee.
I hate answering questionairres like that ... extremely like, somewhat like, yada yada. Too many choices!
