1st, 6th, & 8th!

WOW! Our babes our growing up so fast! Dave and I sung the song from the Staples or OfficeMax commericial... "It's the Most Wonderful Time Of The Year!" when the Dad is skipping down the aisles shopping for back to school supplies and the kids have a scowls on their faces! haha-- Well... Jordan kept saying... "Y'all are so mean!!" LOL ANYHOW... I captured some fun pics from our first day nonetheless!

We got this backpack as a surprise free gift when I signed Dave and I up for PTA at Meet the Teacher-- and it was full of school supplies-- BUT because there were about 40 other similar backpacks given out for the same cause-- We tied a big pink striped ribbon around the top handle to distinguish hers! She said... "so the ribbon is like my Nametag!"

NEXT... It was off to the Middle School.. We stopped at McDonald's for a special 1st day breakfast sandwich and then parked in a nearby church parking lot so the kids could scarf it down before heading into the school!

I guess I totally was taboo as I asked the kids to pose for a pic as they got out in the drop off lane at the middle school! LOL -- Jordan is saying... MOM! SERIOUSLY???!!!

BUT they appeased their faux pas Mom and did pose! LOL I love them!

Josh and Jillian-- Josh was up at the crack of morning-- (so not like him) I think he was anxious and nervous about beginning Middle School! and.. He is secretly happy to have his big sis as his guide! I just hope she will be kind to him through out the school year!

Sweet 1st grader!

OK... tadaaa! A big giant thank you to Uncle Mike and Aunt Jen for gifting the wonderful magical gift of "PICK ANY PAIR YOU WANT OFF ZAPPOS.COM" for back to school wear! So So sweet and awesome of them! This is the 4th year of this tradition!

He LOVES them! He immediately went outside to test them... and see how fast he could run in them! (I love it!) and... apparently it's "like I'm barefoot!" and that's a good thing!

Ok... Jordan chose brown "MONTAUK" Sperrys! She loves Sperry topsiders but these with the special name of her favorite New York Beach were really special!

Very classic and cool! and... I hear Aunt Jen wants some just like these now! LOL

and like big sis... Jillian chose some Sperry Topsiders as well.. Size 3 LEOPARD Print with Pink! She says they are so comfortable... she kept telling Jordan... "you were right about these Sperrys!" ha!

The kids all had great 1st days.. Josh and Jor actually rode the bus this morning! That would have been a cute photo op but I was afraid of more embarrassment! ;)

Lots of Summer 2010

I had to clear out my memory card so we can fill it up again while in Galveston. Here it is 2:35 AM and I'm blogging. Lately I have been having insomnia. My mind just won't rest even though I'm pretty sure I'm tired! anyhow... let's get to the fun stuff of Summer 2010 thus far...

A day with Aunt Aner, Hannah, and Luke!
This is the ONE and ONLY pic of Luke... I'm so sad-- got tons of Hannah as you will see below. He was a bit camera shy-- well not shy... more like annoyed! LOL I actually videoed him playing with his trains and when I called his name for him to look my way-- he just said in a straightforward flabbergasted way-- "CAMERA"-- as if to tell me... "STOP filming me!" haha I just love this sweet boy! I could sit and watch him play and interact and ask him fun questions about his "play" for hours! I sincerely wish I had more opportunity to do just that-- He is an amazing sweet boy!

OH and speaking of amazing sweetness...

Does that foot taste good?? in a real syrupy sweet high pitched voice... that's how Jilly talks to Hannah Bow!

THE FOURTH OF JULY... Here they are in their Red White and Blue and very unthrilled for me to take their pics!

I know I look awful but I had to put it on otherwise someday when I looke back at this blog there will be no pictures of me on here. So... ugly gray roots and double chins must appear on the blog! ughgh

Let's go back to Father's Day weekend...
We were "Grill Shopping" at Sears when we found the most amazing new Dyson Fan-- no blades-- just a wind tunnel of air. Simple things amuse us! LOL
Finally found THE Grill at Lowes! It is an amazing grill too! Dave is an expert bbqer!
Next we ate us some ribs at Red, Hot, and Blue! well, I actually had my usual standby favorite which is pulled pork sandwich Memphis style (means coleslaw on top) with warm german style potato salad. yum.
