I decided to power blog and get all of our activities and fun pics from the last month or so downloaded and onto the blog for all our friends and family to enjoy. Sorry it has been a scarce and skimpy blog entry spell for us!
Jordan had her "Fall Concert"! She is in her middle school choir and is really enjoying "being a part" of something so fun! I got to be a parent volunteer and help "chaperone"! As a chaperone I was given instructions to make the kids take off any jewelry and place it in a zip-loc baggy! Apparently the students KNEW that NO Necklaces/Earrings/Bracelets were allowed-- HOWEVER-- So many kids still came adorned with all their jewels!! It was like I was the JEWELRY POLICE! At one point I saw this girl with her necklace tucked into her collar-- I could still see it but it was obvious that she was trying to conceal it-- Well-- when I asked her to remove it-- It was a "rosary" and she said... "but this is part of my religion"!
I SO THOUGHT I WAS GONNA END UP ON THE LOCAL NEWS for making her follow the rule and put her necklace in the baggy til after the concert! LOL Another girl had a string tied around her neck and said that her Pastor had tied it on her and she was going to wear it for the rest of her life!!! I sent HER to the Choir Teacher as I was certainly not going to break the tightly knotted string from her neck-- WELL...The Teacher CUT IT OFF! LOL and luckily no one ended up on the News!! LOL
Here is Jewelry-less Jordan and her friend Jacquie! Their choir shirts are so cute--On the back of the shirt it says..."CAUTION! I SING FOR NO REASON!"
Jordan has been very busy playing Volleyball! Her team is the SPIKERS!! However, it has been very frustrating for Jordan as her team is a beginner team and Jordan is ready to be competitive not a beginner! Daddy and Jordan are constantly in the yard playing "pepper" and building volleyball skills.
Jordan has an AWESOME KILLER SERVE!!
She is the only one on the team who dives and digs for the ball and because of this...Jordan gets really frustrated during the games as her fellow "Spikers" just let the ball hit the floor in front of them!! BUT-- Jor had the opportunity to play with the Young Women at church and they actually WON their "Stake Tournament" and moved onto Regionals where they made it to the Semi-Finals!! That was a blast for Jordan-- not just to succeed and win but to build friendships with the other girls at church!
There has been lots of Football action that I have neglected to blog as of late!! This picture is from Homecoming-- we had a Pep Rally and decorated our cars! Josh was beaming with pride when I wrote this on the back of our van! (Dave was not as he was alarmed that I would write on our BRAND NEW VAN! LOL)

POST-GAME coming back home-- We played awesome but lost in the 4th quarter by a touchdown! It was a tough loss!
It was "Dad's Night" at Jillian's Day School recently! It was a wonderful time for both Dave and Jilly...They sang songs ate hot dogs and did a 'cowboy craft' together! Jillian also did a "fill in the blank" worksheet all about her Dad!

He is 16 years old, has curly hair, & weighs 14 pounds!

Jordan had her FIRST DANCE!! When she arrived she was given a wristband (hers was yellow) and the youth were divided into groups based on their wristband color. They attended little mini-classes. The youth at church had dinner with etiquette lessons followed by a fun dance! Jordan came home gleaming--she had a blast--she learned to dance the Twist and the Jerk! AND it was easy to find dance partners as they were given instructions like "turn around and dance with person directly behind you!" or yellow dance with blue etc...Our Jordan is growing into such a beautiful young lady-- inside and out!
It was SILLY SOCK DAY for my little (big 12kiddos) Mother's Day Out Class! They were so cute! They were so excited to show off their socks to each other and every person that walked by our classroom!
This is my Monday class! I love their sweet personalities-- each one so unique and precious!
